Weekends...like a slice of banana bread

Another lazy weekend. How can I go wrong watching General Conference in my pajamas while eating and listening to words of advice from my church leaders? For those who really have no clue what General Conference is, let me enlighten you. General Conference happens every six months where the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints get together and basically have a huge church meeting. The meeting is broadcast everywhere so every Latter Day Saint may be able to take part in it. It takes place at Salt Lake City, Utah. Thousands of members go there just to listen to our church leaders speak (and then of course, broadcasted everywhere). Not only do we hear words of wisdom, we hear how many church members there are currently and how many temples are going to be build and so forth. It really is an amazing thing, to me at least.

And you really can't go wrong ending a Saturday with a piece of banana bread, especially when it's still warm from the oven. If you don't like banana bread...you can just imagine a warm chocolate chip cookie with the chocolate chips melting in your mouth. That isn't a bad idea either.

Unfortunately, all weekends come to an end and real life begins once more. For me, that will mean getting back to reading Shakespeare and other works of literature, which, I suppose, really isn't that bad. But, if you compare Shakespeare to banana bread (or cookie), you know hands down which one is better.
